Kiandra 2025

Launched in July of 2025, Kiandra is the newest boat built by Brooklin Boat Yard and designed by Mark Fitzgerald. Kiandra is an offshore cruising sailboat designed specifically for seaworthiness and efficient, owner-operated sailing. She is outfitted for the family’s interest in diving and surfing, as they plan to cruise around the U.S. coasts and beyond.

When the family decided to custom-design a cruising sailboat, they wanted reliability and comfort along with amenities geared toward their hobbies, so Kiandra is equipped with family-oriented perks like a dive tank and surfboard storage. She was constructed using cold-molded construction techniques.

This build harkens back to previous builds of ours like Marjorie- more cruising, less racing- built with the owner/sailor in mind who wants to explore the waters in comfort and live aboard with peace of mind.
