Potpourri
1985, Bristol 31.1 Sloop, 31’
Boat Name
Potpourri has outstanding provenance of design and was a collaboration between sailing icon Ted Hood of Hood Sails and famed designer Dieter Empacher of John Alden Yacht Design, with construction by Clint Pearsons of Bristol Yachts. Potpourri is an excellent example of the mid 1980s cruiser-racer with enough get-up-and-go and creature comforts to allow for fun and lively cruising to far way destinations while at the same time being able to hold her own against the fleet in handicapped racing.
